Tents
  • Outwell Minnesota 4.

Our latest tent, this 4 person tent features an all-in-one design with a sewn-in groundsheet and most importantly - the ability to stand upright in both the "living" and sleeping areas.

The only issue noted on this inaugural outing was that you seem to need the strength of an Olympic weighlifter to push the pins into the end of the uprights (unless we've missed an obvious trick
Update: Checking out the pitching video for this tent on the Outwell website shows that it's not as difficult as we made it, just wish the instructions were clearer and I've checked this out before trying to errect the tent for the first time at 9:30pm.
It's also not a tent for those wishing to travel light as it weighs in at a whopping 25Kg, not what you want to be carrying over any distance unless you are an ex Marine!

    this replaced our previous tent

  • Peakland Lathkill A 4 person dome tent with a self contained clip in sleeping compartment and nearly enough room in the living area to stand, but not with 2 dogs in attendance, room to cook should, as more often than not happened with this tent, the weather decided to change and the rain start pouring down.
This Peakland tent is now for sale: £65 ono. Contact me via email if interested.
  • Litchfield Ontario My original tent, a 2 person (just) ridge tent with separate fly sheet which served us well for a few weekend camping trips when it was just the 2 of us but with the dog (now dogs) and all the assorted stuff that you seem to need when camping, it really wasn't big enough.
